Telephone Consultation

I offer a free, no‑obligation phone consultation where we can chat through your concerns and explore how I might be able to support your child and family.
Assessment
(60–90 minutes)
At assessment, I gather information from you and explore your child’s speech, language and communication skills through observation, providing tailored support as a Private Language Therapist Sutton. play-based activities and, where appropriate, more formal and structured tasks. Afterwards, you’ll receive a detailed report outlining your child’s strengths and areas of need, along with clear next‑step targets, strategies and advice to support their communication development. An initial assessment is always required before starting therapy.
Therapy Sessions
(45–60 minutes)
Sessions take place at home or in your child’s nursery or school. We’ll agree together on the frequency of sessions—whether weekly, fortnightly or another rhythm that suits your child’s needs. Therapy involves direct work with your child and practical coaching for you, so you feel confident supporting their communication. My approach is play‑based and personalised to your child’s interests and needs. If therapy takes place at nursery/school, I will send a follow‑up email with feedback and next steps for home and school.
Nursery and School Visits
(60 minutes)
I observe your child’s communication in the classroom setting. I provide practical advice to staff and model therapy techniques,
helping the education team feel confident and equipped to support your child’s speech, language and communication development through Speech and Language Therapy London.
Reports & Therapy Programmes
I can prepare detailed reports and tailored therapy programmes that outline your child’s strengths, areas of need and practical next steps. These provide clear guidance for families and professionals to follow through Child Speech Therapy Greater London.
Resources
I can create additional resources for you to use with your child at home, nursery or school.
Training
I provide both formal and informal training for families and professionals working with your child, giving them the knowledge and strategies they need to feel confident in supporting communication development.
